7-19-74 wow. listened to the last disc he`s gone through china doll on the way home from work yesterday. couldnt get enough so i had to hear it again later hangin out by the fire. cant say enough about it. i even loved the WRS ( not really one of my favs ) and id like to hear anyone put a 74 us blues in the throwaway category and of course the meat of spanish jam eyes china doll is about as great as it gets. and perfect mix too

Great show, in my top-ten all time. Burned a copy for a 'touchhead' era friend (sans 'seastones')and he hated it. Hmmm, different strokes, but I'll take a '74 weather report/let it grow over an '89 lost sailor/saint any old day.

they didnt play sailor/saint in 89. I believe they brought saint back by itself in 90

Figures! I don't listen much beyond 77 or thereabouts, so it shows ya what I know...

Excellent Johnny! I had the workplace all to myself yesterday and cranked this one up, twice! One of my tops from '74 for all the reasons you stated. Rock on!

Yeah -- one of my favorites, too. Even the opening sound check jam is fine -- pure fluid delight. Anyone who got there early must have known a special night was in store.

couldn't agree more JOTS, this show is one of my very favorites of '74!

besides the excellent 2nd set jams you mentioned, I can't get enough of the ridiculous Scarlet Begonias in this show; such an EPIC version.
